Mumbai: After receiving several representations from organisations that supply food for the mid-day meal scheme, the state govt has decided to modify an earlier resolution on the menu. Earlier the state had decided to introduce 15 recipes, which has now been modified to 12 in a govt resolution issued on Tuesday. Schools have been asked to give one of the options for sweet dishes, between sweet khichdi and nachani sattu and also asked to procure sugar for the dishes from the community. The resolution mentioned, “The central government has given instructions to increase public participation under the Sneh Bhojanavadara scheme.
