Mumbai: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued summons to suspended IPS officer Quaisar Khalid to appear before the ACB office on Wednesday.
The summoning is part of ACB’s probe into the allegations by businessman Raees Khan that he had paid the officer and his wife’s business partner Rs 30 lakh and sponsored their hotel stay in the US to bag a hoarding contract in Dadar. Khalid is under suspension following a report from the DGP’s office over the alleged irregularities and lapses in erection of Ghatkopar hoarding that crashed, killing 17 people and injuring 70.
