Yuva Sena launches 'mini-cabinet' initiative to train next-generation leaders in Thane

THANE: The youth wing of Shiv Sena, Yuva Sena, has launched a pilot ‘mini-cabinet’ initiative for the next generation of netas, where a few members will be selected and assigned specific portfolios. These members will serve as a link between the bureaucracy, ministers, and the common man.
The resolution to this effect was passed at the Yuva Sena conclave in Thane on Saturday, informed Purvesh Sarnaik, Yuva Sena chief. The idea, he said, was not just to empower aspiring young netas to become a crucial link between the common man and the bureaucracy or the govt, but also to provide hands-on training and grooming for these next-generation candidates, Sarnaik said.
The ‘mini-cabinet members’ will also hold fortnightly meetings on the lines of the state cabinet and review their respective assigned portfolios.
“We will select youngsters who will be assigned key portfolios and groom them as potential netas. They will interact with grassroots workers, understand their issues, and try to sort out the same with the concerned departments. These ‘mini-cabinet members’ will also get the opportunity to work with ministers after our Mahayuti govt is formed, and soon we may get a trained batch of netas of the future who are well-versed in resolving issues,” said Sarnaik.
