Will Canada Join The US: Canada called ‘broken sh**hole’ after Trump suggests to Trudeau to make it 51st US state

Justin Trudeau laughed nervously after Donald Trump told him that Canada could become US’s 51st state and he the Governor if Canadian economy crumbles because of 25 per cent tariff.

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was not thrilled when Donald Trump joked to him that Canada should become the 51st state of the United States of America, if Trump’s proposed 25 per cent tariff kills the Canadian economy. Trudeau and other officials nervously laughed at Trump’s joke but social media users think it was not a joke as Canada would have to eventually join the US because it is a “broken sh**hole”.
“Canadian dollar is going to die within the next couple decades. I doubt America wants a failed state as its hat,” one user wrote.
Social media users started debating whether the US should also “acquire” Greenland or Alaska if Trump is on such a spree. Many Conservatives are not in favour of Canada joining the US as the 51st state because they don’t want another “blue state”.

“Maple syrup and hockey for all,” one user expressed enthusiasm over the prospect.
“As a Canadian I can tell you , you only want from Ontario and west. The eastern provinces work just enough to qualify for unemployment and the only worthwhile thing coming out of Quebec are strippers,” another response read.

Fox News reported that during the Trump-Trudeau dinner at Mar-a-Lago which came unexpectedly, Trudeau said Trump’s proposal of 25 per cent tax would break the Canadian economy. “Trudeau told Trump he cannot levy the tariff because it would kill the Canadian economy completely. Trump replied – asking, so your country can’t survive unless it’s ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion? Trump then suggested to Trudeau that Canada become the 51st state, which caused the prime minister and others to laugh nervously,” Fox News reported citing sources. That was not it. Trump carried forward the joke and said prime minister is a better title though he could still be the governor of the 51st state.
