How AI is transforming IT and healthcare, experts explain

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming IT and healthcare, introducing innovations that enhance efficiency and improve outcomes, industry experts report. From predictive analytics in healthcare to automation in IT, AI is reshaping these fields at an unprecedented pace.
In healthcare, AI-powered diagnostic tools enable early disease detection and personalized treatments. “Algorithms analyze patient data to predict conditions like cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases with remarkable accuracy,” said Manoj Chowdary Vattikuti, an IT professional and innovator. He noted similar advancements in IT, where AI automates complex tasks, strengthens cybersecurity, and optimizes resource management.
“Predictive maintenance helps organizations anticipate and resolve technical issues, reducing downtime and costs,” Vattikuti added.
Niharikareddy Meenigea, a senior data analyst and researcher, emphasized AI’s ability to process vast datasets efficiently. “It’s not just about automation but empowering professionals with actionable insights,” she said.
Meenigea is also co-developing a cutting-edge device aimed at revolutionizing Type 2 diabetes screening and prevention.
Despite the promise, challenges persist. Data privacy concerns and high infrastructure costs hinder widespread adoption. “Ethical AI development and transparency are crucial,” Vattikuti stressed. Meenigea agreed, adding, “Fair algorithms and secure systems will determine AI’s long-term success in these industries.”
