Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik won the Ovala Majiwada seat with a massive victory margin
THANE: Fourth time elected Shiv Sena MLA from Ovala Majiwada has expressed his interest in securing a cabinet ministerial berth when the Mahayuti forms the govt next week.
Sarnaik expressed his interest before the media after his victory was announced, late Saturday.
“I am among the first three to secure high winning margins in the state… I was promised a ministerial berth last time (when Mahayuti was formed in July 2022) but it couldn’t work out last time as I didn’t pursue it considering that the city already got to host a chief minister. I am hoping they (senior Mahayuti leaders) would consider me (for a ministry),” he said.
