Allu Arjun recently praised his co-star Rashmika Mandanna during the pre-release event for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule‘. The actor shared how important her role is in the film and makes his character Pushpa Raj “incomplete” without his Srivalli. He also expressed his gratitude, support and the positive attitude the ‘Animal’ actress brought on the set.
Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun took a moment to acknowledge Rashmika’s contributions, and spoke that her presence brought joy and energy to the filming process. He described her as someone who uplifts everyone around her.
He said, “Her support is immense. There is no way this film is complete without Srivalli’s support. Me and my director have so much admiration for her because we keep shooting every day, and she comes once in a while. When she comes, those days are so pleasant. She leaves me like such a sweet girl, bringing in so much beautiful, positive energy.”
Rashmika Mandanna’s portrayal of Srivalli in the first film, ‘Pushpa: The Rise‘, won her widespread acclaim and affection from audiences.
Allu Arjun also mentioned that she is the kind of person who brings light into any situation, stating that she is the kind of girl one would want to work with.
He added, “These are the kind of girls who will brighten up the room. The world needs more girls like these. On a day where we all compare and say, ‘Oh, girls are like this today, like that today,’ she is the kind of girl where you can say, ‘Even girls like this will make the world a better place.'”
Directed by Sukumar, this sequel continues Pushpa Raj’s story as the boss of the red sandalwood smugglers syndicate. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, reprising his role as the antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
