Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, WWE SmackDown will air on the USA Network! The XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, is the broadcast location for tonight’s show. If that sounds familiar, it’s because tonight’s episode was recorded last week to give the WWE Superstars some time off for the holidays, and it was recorded at the same location as last week’s episode. But don’t worry, we won’t reveal any spoilers in this preview.

Braun Strowman to appear on the Grayson Waller Effect
Officially the newest member of the SmackDown locker room, Braun Strowman was the first WWE Superstar to make use of the new transfer window. When the Monster Among Men joins the Grayson Waller Effect on Friday night, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller will be welcoming him. Last week, Strowman made a powerful statement by easily defeating Carmelo Hayes, but you can bet that Hayes won’t simply accept the defeat and move on.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Jade Cargill’s injury almost forced Bianca Belair to watch the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships be vacated, but Naomi volunteered to take her place and fight alongside the E-S-T. SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis concurred but stated that they had to be competing against champions. Tonight, when they compete against WWE Women’s Champions Nia Jax and Candice LeRae for the gold, they will face their first test.
