ULHASNAGAR: The Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) took action against illegal pay and park facilities and encroachments on roads in front of CHM College in Ulhasnagar.
The UMC, in a joint operation with the help of traffic police and local police, acted against illegal pay parks and also removed many illegal temporary shops built by encroaching on footpaths.
Ajay Sable, deputy municipal commissioner, said, “The Municipal Corporation will continue to take action against the encroachments made by shopkeepers on all major roads, chowks, and footpaths in the UMC area on a daily basis.”
After being appointed as the Commissioner of Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, Manisha Awhale started a special campaign to make the roads in the city encroachment-free.
This initiative aims to ensure that common people do not face any problems walking on the road due to these encroachments, and the traffic problem can also be reduced. Under this initiative, action is being seen in every ward of the Municipal Corporation every day.
