Two minors among 4 booked for sexual assault and blackmail of 15-year-old in Nalasopara

Vasai: Four including two minors have been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor in Nalasopara. The accused have been booked, of which two are minors, for filming, blackmailing and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Nalasopara. The accused allegedly filmed the act and were blackmailing the girl. Pelhar cops have booked the four under charges of gang rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
The girl was first sexually assaulted in Sept 2024 and later videos were taken, she claimed. She was then blackmailed by three of the accused who threatened to post the videos on social media. The cops stated that the two minors would be sent to a juvenile home, while the other two have been arrested.
