Two Arrested in Karnataka for Online Insult Against Women | Mysuru News

MADIKERI: Kodagu district police arrested one person on charges of insulting Kodava women on social media.
The police arrested Anudeep, a resident of Kushalnagar, based on a complaint filed by the President and Secretary of the Kushalnagar Kodava Samaj.
Police said the villager allegedly insulted women by using obscene language about Kodava women on social media.
The Madikeri Town Police also arrested Aiyappa and took action after Kushalnagar Gowda Samaj leaders filed a complaint against him.
The police said Aiyappa, along with his associate Nachappa, allegedly sent derogatory and provocative messages about the Gowda community on social media. He was arrested on charges of insulting women, the police said.
