Stock market today: BSE Sensex and Nifty50, the Indian equity benchmark indices, opened in green on Friday. While BSE Sensex moved up over 300 points, Nifty50 crossed 23,100. At 9:22 AM, BSE Sensex was trading at 76,297.32, up 158 points or 0.21%. Nifty50 was at 23,076.55, up 45 points or 0.20%.
On Thursday, stock markets demonstrated strength for the second straight day, despite late-session selling pressure. Market experts indicate optimism surrounding potential outcomes from discussions regarding US reciprocal tariffs.
Trading activity is expected to be influenced by the results of Modi-Trump discussions and final Q3 earnings reports due today.
Nifty maintains positive short-term trajectory, though struggling at resistance levels. Breaking above 23,250 could confirm trend reversal. Support exists at 22,800
US stock markets advanced Thursday following Trump’s announcement of a potential reciprocal tariff framework.
