Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the movie has received a positive response from fans and followers. At a recent success event for ‘Thandel’, Chaitanya made a stylish appearance with his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, and a particular moment between the duo is stealing the spotlight online.
Sobhita and Chaitanya opted for adorable ethnic looks, and as they sat in the front row, the actor was urged to recite his now-famous dialogue from the film, “Bujji thalli,” for Sobhita. The moment he started reciting the line while looking at Sobhita, she was seen blushing and smiling. The video went viral on the internet.
Earlier, Chay revealed that Sobhita was upset when he used the phrase ‘Bujji thalli’ in the movie, as he used to call her that at home, making it an exclusive name he had for her. She never wanted it to be in the film.
Meanwhile, Sobhita recently took to Instagram to shower praise on her husband’s dedication to ‘Thandel’. She called it an “extraordinary love story” and expressed admiration for Chaitanya’s commitment to the project. “I have seen you be so focused and positive throughout the making of this film. Can’t wait for everyone (and myself) to experience this extraordinary love story in theatres from tomorrow. Finally, you will shave your beard, and I will see your face. Saami.”
The couple tied the knot on December 4, 2024 in a traditional Hindu ceremony held at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.
‘Thandel’ hit theatres on February 7, and continues to perform steadily at the box office.
