Skoda Auto India has made the Kylaq available for purchase through the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) across the country. With this initiative, armed forces personnel can now buy the Kylaq at exclusive subsidised rates.The Canteen Stores Department, operating under the Ministry of Defence, is one of India’s largest retail networks. It offers a wide range of products to defence personnel at concessional prices through Unit Run Canteens as well as an online portal.Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the Kylaq has earned a full five-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection under the latest Bharat NCAP testing protocols. The Kylaq comes with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol TSI engine, producing 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. It can be had either with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Skoda Kylaq : Variant-wise pricing at CSD
For armed forces personnel, the Kylaq is now available at subsidised CSD pricing. The Kylaq Signature starts at Rs 8,09,994 for the manual variant and Rs 9,00,044 for the automatic. The Signature+ is priced at Rs 9,30,428 for the manual and Rs 10,31,209 for the automatic, while the top-of-the-line Prestige variant comes at Rs 10,76,116 for the manual and Rs 11,63,417 for the automatic, all ex-showroom.
