The saree that Shriya Saran wore is nothing short of a masterpiece, designed by Shravan Kummar as part of his ‘Sahasra Pushpa’ collection. This collection is known as “the saree of a hundred thousand flowers,” where each flower represents an offering or tribute to the divine. Woven with pure silk threads of gold on a crimson backdrop, the saree’s body is a deep maroon, providing a canvas for the intricate and delicate craftsmanship that defines the piece.

The Sahasra Pushpa is built on a tightly interwoven warp and weft, creating a sturdy base for the painstakingly detailed design. The saree’s flowers, woven with fine silk, shimmer in a way that seems to catch the light, adding an ethereal glow to the entire piece. What truly stands out, however, is the Hamsa Vahana, a divine swan motif at the border. Its wings are spread wide, almost in flight, woven from a combination of ivory and golden threads that shine like moonlight, making the saree not just a garment, but an artwork of divine elegance.
