Former WWE Champion, JBL recently shed light on the word that Vince McMahon hated the most. Unfortunately, JBL didn’t learn this himself, until he used the word in a promo against Shawn Michaels. WWE has always been known for its strong language and carefree attitude with plenty of wrestlers throwing caution to the wind and dropping f-bombs like there’s no tomorrow. While Vince McMahon was fine with f-bombs, apparently the word pr*ick is where he drew the line.

Vince McMahon Allegedly Fired Brad Maddox for Using the Word Pr*ck
During a conversation on Something to Wrestle, JBL shed light on how former RAW GM Brad Maddox was allegedly fired for using the word pr*ck. He said, “That’s what Brad Maddox got fired for. Remember Brad Maddox? He was as talented as he could be. I remember Vince seeing him backstage one time, and I was sitting by Vince and he was doing a promo, and he [Vince McMahon] goes, ‘Man, that kid is special.’”
He further added, “Vince really liked him. And I don’t know exactly what he got fired for, but he said pr*ck in the promo. Vince thought that was the most classless word ever.”
Maddox wasn’t the only one who got grilled for using this word, as JBL himself used it against Shawn Michaels. Here’s what JBL revealed about the backstage reaction to his use of the word pr*ck:
“I once called Shawn Michaels that in a promo. I said, ‘You’re a selfish pr*ck,’ or something. I didn’t realize how bad Vince hated it. I came back and he’s like, ‘We got sponsors here.’ The first time he ever ripped me on language, and I didn’t realize that that was the word he hated so bad until the Brad Maddox thing happened.”
