Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has expanded his fleet of luxury cars with the newly launched Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series. This SUV was recently launched in India at Rs 3.71 crore, ex-showroom, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The ‘Kabir Singh’ star has become the first customer in India to have received this limited-edition model. Here, let’s take a look at what it offers.
Shahid Kapoor’s Maybach GLS 600 Night Series:
Shahid’s Maybach GLS 600 Night Series features a two-tone paint job, combining Mojave Silver on the upper half and Onyx Black on the lower section. Besides that, the SUV features a blacked-out grille, dark alloy wheels, and rose gold accents on the grille and headlights. It rides on 22-inch wheels, similar to those seen on the Maybach EQS 680 Night Series.
Maybach GLS 600 Night Series: Powertrain
Under the hood, the luxury SUV gets the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine as the standard model. It produces 543 bhp and 770 Nm of torque. It also houses a 48V mild-hybrid system, which provides an additional 250 Nm boost. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive setup, the GLS 600 Night Series can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds.
Maybach GLS 600 Night Series: Cabin and features
In terms of cabin, the SUV gets an all-black theme, featuring black upholstery and a dark dashboard. While the overall layout remains unchanged, it is packed with high-end features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, and a 13-speaker Burmester sound system. Other highlights include four-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, electric sunblinds, a 360-degree camera, and dedicated screens for rear passengers.
