Sara Ali Khan celebrated the sixth anniversary of her debut film, ‘Kedarnath,’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor, which co-starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput. To mark the occasion, she shared a nostalgic video on Instagram, showcasing her recent visit to Kedarnath. Dressed in a vibrant red sweatshirt and white leggings, she expressed feeling “outstanding” upon her arrival at the revered temple.
In the video, Sara was seen chanting “Har Har Mahadev” while visiting the Kedarnath temple. She shared a heartfelt voice-over, recalling on her first visit, “The first time that I went to Kedarnath, I was not an actor. I didn’t even know if I was me. Everything I am has come from that place, everything I am. So much gratitude, aur bas bulawa aata rahe aur main jaati rahoon.”

The actress also shared a heartfelt video, featuring clips from the film alongside her late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, set to the song “Namo Namo.” In her caption, she recalled the impact of the film, stating, “6 years of Kedarnath Sometimes it feels like just yesterday, and sometimes it feels like a lifetime away… Jai Bholenath Thank you for making me me… And thank you for giving me a lifetime of memories”.
‘Kedarnath,’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor and released on December 7, 2018, is a romantic drama about an interfaith couple: Mukku, a wealthy Hindu girl played by Sara Ali Khan, and Mansoor, a Muslim porter (Sushant Singh Rajput). Set during the 2013 Uttarakhand floods, the film explores love amid societal challenges.
On the work front, Sara will next appear in Anurag Basu’s film ‘Metro… In Dino,’ alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, and Kay Kay Menon. The film, which explores modern-day relationships, is set to release on November 29, 2024, after several delays.
