MUMBAI: There will be no day block on Western Railway suburban today and this will be a relief for those travelling by local trains on the Churchgate-Virar section.
A WR official said that a night block was carried out between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
“To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a block of four hours was undertaken between Santacruz and Goregaon stations on 6th line from 11.30 pm Saturday to 3.30am Sunday and on 5th line from 12.30am Saturday to 4.30am Sunday,” the official added.
