NCP MP Suresh Mhate’s Instagram Hacked: Cyber Crime Investigation Underway | Thane News

BHIWANDI: Police registered a case against an unknown person for hacking the Instagram email ID of Bhiwandi Lok Sabha MP Suresh Mhatre, alias Balya Mama, and changing the email ID and mobile number associated with it.
Mhatre is an NCP (SP) MP from Bhiwandi Lok Sabha.
On the complaint of Mhatre’s colleague, Vipul Mhatre, at the police station, the local Narpoli police registered a case against the unknown person under Section 43 and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act.
In the complaint, Vipul Mhatre said that an unknown person hacked the MP’s Instagram email ID, changed his email address, and also changed his mobile number.
“To trace the accused, we are taking help from the Thane cyber cell to trace the accused,” an official said
