Mumbai: The Aaple Sarkar portal, part of the state’s right to services initiative started by CM Devendra Fadnavis during his first term, may soon take on a new form to be more efficient and will come in the form of a mobile app. To secure public and govt data from misuse, the state will soon create its ‘state-own-cloud’.
Information technology minister Ashish Shelar said the portal, which offered 485 different services online, should be more efficient, sophisticated, and user-friendly, ensuring faster delivery of services. —Chittaranjan Tembhekar
