Ponda: A minor girl has gone missing from the custody of Matruchhaya, an orphanage at Dhavali, Ponda, on Thursday morning.
According to a complaint lodged with the Ponda police by Ashwini Patil, a staff member of the orphanage, an unidentified man took away the girl around 11.30 am from their guardianship.
A case has been booked against an unidentified person under provisions of the BNS, 2023, and the Goa Children’s Act, 2000.
