Man jumps to death from 7 storey building in Thane after domestic feud

NEW DELHI: A 48-year-old man reportedly took his own life by jumping from the terrace of a seven-storey building in Thane city, Maharashtra, following a domestic dispute, police stated on Monday.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 24 in the Kavesar area on Ghodbunder Road.
According to an official from Kasarwadavali police station, the man was troubled by a domestic quarrel but did not provide further details. He went to the terrace of the building, where his residence was located, and allegedly jumped, the official added.
Bystanders immediately transported him to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The body was later sent to a govt hospital for a postmortem.
Police have registered a case of accidental death.
