The ‘Friends’ fame star Lisa Kudrow or as many know her ‘Pheobe’ recently made some confessions regarding her marriage ahead of her 30th wedding anniversary. In a recent interview, she mentioned that her marriage with her husband Michel Stern is no longer a romance, it is much more intimate.
According to RadarOnline.com, the Friends star, who has been married to Michel Stern for almost 3 decades now, and has a son Julian, 26, with him, spoke candidly about her married life in front of Drew Barrymore on her show The Drew Barrymore Show.
Lisa said, “This is 2025, it’ll be 30 years. It’s not a romance, it’s even more than a family member”. She highlighted that there’s much more to a marriage than mere romance and rose-tinted glasses. She added that her marriage is the most intimate relationship she has.
“It’s the most intimate relationship you can have. It’s different from kids but by 30 years…I’m not going anywhere! No way! That’s how I feel about it,” quoted the actress.
Lisa and Michel have been known to keep their relationship a private affair. Over the years, they haven’t talked much about it publically, and there have been speculations of trouble in the paradise, Lisa’s latest remarks speak about their strong bond.
The actor gained fame through the sitcom Friends, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and the late Matthew Perry. In her recent appearance, she shared that Matthew had tucked away a note in the cookie jar prop on the final day of filming, which she had only just discovered. Matthew passed away in 2023 at the age of 54.
She said: “Matthew gave that to (cookie jar) me at the end of our last episode. I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. I hadn’t opened it up or looked inside of it. But yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it.”
