Mumbai: A block of five hours will be taken on the fast lines at Lower Parel from 11.30 pm Saturday to 4.30 am Sunday. This will inconvenience late-night travellers on Saturday. Due to this overnight block, there will be no rail block for commuters on WR suburban on Sunday.
A major rail block will be undertaken on Saturday night and continue until the early hours of Sunday at Lower Parel station. The block will be implemented on the up and down fast lines from 11.30 pm to 4.30 am. During the block period, all fast line trains will operate on slow lines between Mumbai Central and Mahim stations. Owing to the block, several up and down local trains will be cancelled.
