Kareena Kapoor Khan informed the police about an aggressive intruder who broke into their Bandra apartment and attacked Saif Ali Khan, causing multiple stab wounds.

NEW DELHI: Kareena Kapoor Khan, wife of Saif Ali Khan, has informed the police that the intruder who broke into their apartment in Bandra became aggressive during the scuffle but did not steal any jewellery kept in the open, an official said on Saturday.
The police recorded the actress’s statement following the incident at the Bollywood star couple’s 12th-floor residence in the Satguru Sharan building in the early hours of Thursday.

According to the official, the intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan (54) after entering their apartment. The actor sustained multiple stab wounds, including on his neck, and was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Kareena, in her statement to the police, mentioned that the attacker became extremely aggressive during the scuffle with Saif, repeatedly stabbing him. However, he did not touch any of the jewellery that was kept out in the open.
The official added that the police are yet to record Saif’s statement.
Following the incident, Kareena’s sister, actress Karishma Kapoor, took her to her residence in Khar for safety.
The police have formed more than 30 teams to trace the attacker, who remains at large more than 48 hours after the attack.
