KALYAN: Police have registered an FIR against a 43-year-old engineer from Kalyan for allegedly giving triple talaq to his second wife after she refused to have a physical relationship with his employer.
The 28-year-old complainant said after their marriage in Jan, she found out that her husband’s divorce proceedings with his first wife were pending.
She also accused him of demanding Rs 15 lakh dowry and physical and mental harassment.
She said in July, he took her to a party and told her to sleep with his boss. She refused. When they returned home, he gave her triple talaq in front of his relatives.
