Veteran actor Jeetendra and his wife Shobha Kapoor celebrated their golden jubilee of marriage in the most heartwarming way – by tying the knot again. The festivities included a recreated varmala ceremony where the evergreen couple exchanged garlands as their loved ones cheered and showered them with rose petals. A stunning three-tier vanilla cake with the words “Happy 50th Anniversary” added sweetness to the occasion. The celebrations were filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments.
Ektaa Kapoor, the couple’s daughter, shared a delightful video on Instagram capturing the joy of the day. In the clip, Ektaa could be seen dancing in the living room with friends and relatives, making the atmosphere lively and fun. Actress Krystle D’Souza also gave fans a glimpse of the mehendi ceremony through her Instagram, sharing pictures of the joyous moments.

Jeetendra, who began his Bollywood journey with V. Shantaram’s Geet Gaya Paththaron Ne (1964), became a household name with his energetic dance numbers in Farz (1967) and numerous iconic performances. He and Shobha tied the knot in 1974 and have since built a legacy not just in their personal lives but also in the entertainment industry.
The couple has two children – Ektaa Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor – and are proud grandparents to Lakshya and Ravie. Shobha Kapoor, alongside Ektaa, has produced some of the most successful television shows in Indian entertainment, further cementing their family’s legacy.
