Hero MotoCorp tops FY’25 retail and wholesale sales.

Hero MotoCorp has once again claimed the top spot in India’s two-wheeler market, continuing its dominance for the 25th consecutive year. According to the latest retail data shared by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the company registered retail sales of 54,45,251 units in FY 2024-25, reaffirming its position as the market leader.
In March 2025 alone, Hero MotoCorp clocked retail sales of 4,35,828 units, underlining its strong monthly performance. On the wholesale front, the company dispatched 5,899,187 units over the course of the financial year. For March 2025, wholesale figures stood at 5,94,604 units, marking a healthy 12% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company’s electric mobility arm, VIDA, also showed signs of steady progress. Sales of the VIDA V2 electric scooter through retail channels reached 48,674 units in FY’25, reflecting a 2.36% growth over the previous fiscal. March 2025 alone saw 7,982 units sold, which is a 3.21% improvement from March 2024. Overall, Hero recorded its highest-ever EV sales, with over 58,000 electric scooters sold – a significant 200% jump compared to FY’24.
Hero MotoCorp’s performance wasn’t limited to domestic numbers. The company also expanded its global footprint with 287,429 units exported, registering an impressive 43% year-on-year growth in its international business.
Fueling this growth was a series of key product launches across categories. New additions like the Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210, Destini 125, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and the updated range of VIDA V2 electric scooters have helped the brand strengthen its portfolio and reach wider audiences.
