The much-awaited trailer of ‘Game Changer’, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, has stirred excitement among fans. The trailer was unveiled today ( January 2) at a grand event in Hyderabad, attended by filmmaker SS Rajamouli, and it has given fans hope for the Telugu debut of director S Shankar.

The clip opens with Ram Charan portraying an IAS officer advocating against greed. The trailer transitions into a montage of dynamic avatars, including a student, a police officer, and a leader dressed in a lungi. The narrative suggests a familial connection, with Ram playing dual roles as a father and son, while Anjali takes on the role of his mother. Kiara Advani essays the role of his love interest, and the central conflict emerges with SJ Suryah as a corrupt Chief Minister locking horns with Ram.
One fan reacted to the trailer, “Ram Charan blockbuster loading,” while another wrote, “Double role Ram Charan – father & son, two generations story, that’s it.”
The film also features an ensemble cast, including Anjali, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and SJ Suryah. ‘Game Changer’ is written by Karthik Subbaraj, with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. The project, launched in 2021, faced numerous delays but concluded filming in 2024.
Notably, Shankar has invested Rs 75 crore in four songs composed by Thaman S, while the film’s locations span Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Zealand, Visakhapatnam, and Chandigarh. Initially slated for a Christmas 2024 release, the movie’s debut was deferred to January 10, 2025 due to pending post-production work.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the big screen comeback of Ram after the global success of his last film ‘RRR’. He has also signed a film with Buchi Babu Sana.
