Thane: A 40-year-old man and his 12-year-old son were booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl in their neighbourhood in Ulhasnagar.
According to the police, the parents of both the accused and the victim work as daily wage labourers. The police said that recently, the victim was alone in her house when the 40-year-old accused raped her. When her mother came home late in the evening, the girl told her about the incident. She also told her mother that on one occasion, the accused’s minor son also sexually abused her.
Following this, on the complaint of the girl’s mother, the police on Wednesday registered a case related to physical abuse against both the father and the son and arrested them. While the father was arrested, his son was sent to a remand hom in Bhiwandi, Shankar Shivtade, senior police inspector, said.
