Delhi bizman suicide: Police to visit café owner’s home to question kin, in-laws | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police is likely to question the family members and in-laws of Puneet Khurana, a café owner who was found hanged in the Model Town area of northwest Delhi, sources said on Friday.
A team will visit Khurana’s home, and also meet his friends and in-laws to ascertain the facts of the case.
Earlier, police sources revealed that Khurana had recorded a 59-minute video on his mobile phone prior to taking his life.
A two-and-a-half-minute clip from the video is circulating on social media, in which Khurana is heard stating that he was suffering from depression and listing the reasons for his emotional distress.
According to a source on Friday, several videos have “gone viral on social media”.
“We are verifying all the facts. Multiple teams have been formed to investigate the case. The teams will be questioning his wife, in-laws, and friends,” the source added.
Khurana was found hanged at his residence on Tuesday. His family members have claimed that he was being harassed by his wife and in-laws, the police have stated.
