Cop hurt as SUV driven over foot | Mumbai News

Mumbai: A traffic cop on bandobast duty sustained a minor injury when an unidentified SUV driver drove over his foot at Santacruz early Jan 1. A case has been filed at Santacruz police station. The driver threatened to have the cop, Pravin Mahadeshwar, dismissed by contacting an IPS officer. He tried to grab the phone with which the cop had recorded the incident. —V Narayan
