Brace for megablocks on Central Railway suburban today | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: Central Railway will operate megablock on its suburban sections carrying out various engineering and maintenance works. On Main line, the block is on Up and Down fast lines between Thane and Kalyan stations from 10.40am to 3.40pm. There will be no block on Western Railway suburban today
The Up Fast/Semi-fast services departing Kalyan from 10.28 am to 03.40 pm will be diverted on Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations in addition to their respective halts and further re-diverted on Up Fast line at Mulund station and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than their scheduled arrival.
On Harbour line, the block is between Thane and Vashi/Nerul stations from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.
The Up Trans-harbour line services towards Thane departing Panvel from 10.25 am to 04.09 pm and Down Trans-harbour line services towards Vashi/Nerul/Panvel departing Thane from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm will remain suspended.
There will be no block on Western Railway suburban today. However, an overnight block was carried out between Vasai Road and Bhayandar stations, an official added.
