BMW Motorrad has launched the 2025 iteration of its maxi-scooter, the C 400 GT, in India. Priced at Rs 11.50 lakh, ex-showroom, the 2025 model will continue to arrive on our shores via the CBU route. Notably, this premium scooter is priced almost on par with the popular Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV, thanks to its high-end features, import duties, and BMW’s brand prestige. But what does the latest model bring to the table? Let’s find out.

BMW C 400 GT: All you need to know

While the overall design remains the same as its predecessor, the updated C 400 GT gets subtle styling revisions, including a V-shaped LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs, updated graphics, an adjustable windscreen, and a revamped seat now set at 765 mm – 10mm lower than before.
On the tech front, the 2025 model gets a 10.25-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a new USB-C charging port, keyless ride, and a charging cradle in the left storage compartment. Rider aids include BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, Traction Control, and Engine Drag Torque Control as standard.

Storage space has also been expanded, with the under-seat compartment now offering 37.6 litres of capacity, while the right-side storage compartment holds 4.5 litres.
Buyers can choose between two colour options: Blackstorm Metallic with black rims, brake calipers, and seat, and the Exclusive Diamond White Metallic edition, featuring gold rims and calipers, an embroidered seat emblem, and a tinted windscreen. Additional fitments such as stainless-steel footboard inserts and floor lighting with BMW logo projection are available as optional extras.
Powering the maxi-scooter is a 350cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 33.5 hp and 35 Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox. Bookings are now open at BMW Motorrad dealerships, with deliveries set to begin soon.
