Mumbai: A few members of the BMC Engineers Association staged protest against Assistant Municipal Commissioner Vinayak Vispute, alleging partial treatment was meted out to Assistant Engineer from H West Ward, Sachin Hanamdar.
Ramesh Bhutekar Deshmukh, working president of the union, said, “Hanamdar was relieved from his current post while he was on election duty, and his cabin was locked on Vispute’s instructions, which was wrongfully done.” Vispute termed these allegations as baseless. tnn
