Mumbai: Amid reports that party will take action against him for ani-party activities during state assembly polls, BJP MLC Ranjitsinh Mohite Patil on Saturday met Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree. The meeting gave rise to speculation that Patil could join UBT. The BJP had issued a show-cause notice to Patil and sought a written explanation within seven days as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.
“You, as a representative of the BJP, have been found engaging in activities causing damage to the party,” said the letter issued by the state unit of the party.— Chaitanya Marpakwar
