Mumbai: A parking attendant died after being hit by a motorist inside a BMC pay-and-park lot at Kalina on Thursday. BKC police filed a case of rash driving and negligence against the motorist, Prabodhankar Belekar (32). Vijay Shukla (44), the victim, worked with a firm that runs the facility. Around 7.45pm, a car at the lot suddenly moved at high speed. It hit Shukla and a wall. Shukla suffered serious injuries and died in a hospital. Belekar, a Worli resident, was detained by other attendants and handed over to police. tnn
