THANE: An alert former corporator managed to save a vacant plot from being stealthily used by the municipal administration for dumping a huge load of garbage in the Wagle estate area, Thursday afternoon.
A viral video of Prakash Shinde, younger brother of deputy CM Eknath Shinde and a former corporator from one of the seats in the Wagle estate area- went viral where he is seen intercepting a team of municipal workers led by a senior official who arrived at a vacant plot in the ward to dump waste.
