Anupam Newgi (44) with paraplegia, who has been taking part in TMM for the past seven years, said accessibility was a significant challenge, largely due to the condition of roads. He said the 1.3km route for the disabled, starting at CSMT and ending at OCS Junction in Fort, was riddled with bumps and cracks. “Parking was also a challenge. If it had been decided that people with disabilities would be participating, then better provisions for parking should have been made. Some of our disabled friends had to park at Crawford Market.” tnn
