40 booked over ‘obscene’ acts in Thane bar

NEW DELHI: The Manpada police in Dombivali have registered a case against nearly 40 individuals, including bar staff and customers, for alleged obscene conduct at a bar along the Kalyan-Shil road.
The incident came to light during a police raid on the night of January 14.
The case was registered on Wednesday against 23 men associated with the bar, eight female servers, and eight customers.

“The Manpada police in Dombivali on Wednesday registered a case against 23 men associated with the bar, eight female servers and eight customers over objectionable conduct,” an official said.
The police are investigating the matter further. No arrests have been made yet in connection with the case.
