NEW DELHI: Four tribal people died and fifteen were injured after a tractor-trolley crash in Gwalior district on Saturday night.
The accident occurred around 10.30pm in the Ghatigaon area.
Thirty-one members of the Saharia tribal community were returning from Pai Kho village after collecting herbs.
Police said the tractor-trolley flipped at Tilawali square when the driver swerved to avoid a buffalo. Ghatigaon police station in-charge Jeevanlal Mahor said, “They were returning to the Kait village when the tractor-trolley overturned at Tilawali square while its driver was trying to avoid hitting a buffalo.”
The deceased are Foolwati (45), Ramdas (46), Arun (14), and Kasturi Bai (65). The injured are being treated at a hospital in Gwalior.
