RAJAHMUNDRY: A 35-year-old woman who was suffering from psychiatry problems died after swallowing a keypad cell phone in Rajahmundry.
Penumalla Ramya Smruthi belongs to Bommuru was admitted in Government General Hospital, Rajahmundry on Saturday.
A relative of the patient could not find his mobile and searching for it in the room, He asked the patient about the mobile and Smurthi told him that she has swallowed it.
The doctors performed surgery and removed the mobile. As the Esophagus of the patient was badly damaged, the doctors have referred her to GGH, Kakinada for better treatment.
Smruthi died while getting treatment in GGH, Kakinada while getting treatment.
