2025 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark launched: Most affordable Ducati in India!

Ducati has expanded its Scrambler lineup in India with the launch of the Scrambler Icon Dark, priced at Rs 9.97 lakh, ex-showroom. This makes it the most affordable Ducati currently available in the country, undercutting the standard Scrambler Icon by Rs 94,000. Bookings for the Scrambler Icon Dark have begun and the model is up for grabs immediately across the company’s dealership network in India.
While it remains mechanically identical to its sibling, the Scrambler Icon Dark gets a host of cosmetic changes. Here, let’s take a look at what’s different and what’s not.

As part of this version, the motorcycle gets blacked-out body panels, engine casing, and cycle parts. It includes a matte black fuel tank, blacked-out fenders, plastic panels across the body among others. Furthermore, it features a smoked headlamp with X-shaped LED DRL and does away with the underseat cowl that is available with the standard Scrambler. This gives it a cleaner tail section. Besides that, Ducati is offering a range of accessories, including custom exhausts, seat options, and coloured panels.

Speaking of the engine, it draws its power from the familiar 803 cc, air-cooled, L-twin motor that makes 73 hp and 65.2 Nm of peak torque. This powerplant comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, complemented by a quick-shifter.
Suspension duties are handled by blacked-out, 41mm USD fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. Stopping power comes from a 320 mm front disc while the rear wheel features a 245 mm disc.
On the tech front, Ducati has equipped the 2025 Scrambler Icon Dark with a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, cornering ABS, traction control, and two riding modes: Road and Sport.
