MUMBAI: At least one person died after a cement mixer truck, coming in the wrong direction, collided with an app-based cab, causing a massive fire to erupt on the National Park flyover in Borivali East, Mumbai, on Thursday.
Preliminary reports suggest that the mixer’s tyre burst, causing it to veer off from one arm of the Western Express Highway onto another, leading to the collision and subsequent fire.
The victim has been identified as the cab driver, while the passenger narrowly escaped unharmed.
