Bengaluru-based startup, Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the new Ultraviolette F77 Super Street electric motorcycle in the Indian market. The Super Street is available in two variants – standard and Recon priced at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, respectively) and in four colour options – Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stellar White and Cosmic Black. Interested customers can book the motorcycle, deliveries are expected to begin soon.

The new Ultraviolette F77 Super Street, as the name suggests is an electric motorcycle tailored for street riding and is a more ergonomic version of the F77 Mach 2. The F77 Super Street is essentially based on the F77 Mach 2 and comes with a completely new handlebar that is both wider and taller than the one on the Mach 2, while the footpeg placement remains the same. The weight stays largely the same at 207 kg, with the new handlebar adding approximately 0.5 kg.

The F77 Super Street gets an updated headlight design by adding a new cowl, which the company claims improves aerodynamics by 15% compared to the F77 Mach 2. This redesign has also altered the angle of the 5-inch TFT display, enhancing visibility. Apart from these changes, the overall design remains similar to the Mach 2. The F77 Super Street is powered by a 7.1 kWh battery pack paired with a 27kW motor whereas the Recon uses a larger 10.3 kWh battery pack paired with a 30kW motor. The standard variant has a claimed range of 211km and the Recon variant gets a 323km range. The Recon variant gets ten levels of switchable regenerative braking levels and the standard variant gets only three levels.
In terms of features, the e-bike get three ride modes, a five-inch TFT digital cluster, auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS, and dynamic stability control. The top-of-the-line Recon variant additionally gets four levels of traction control. The bike also flashes the lights when it’s stationary as a safety feature when the motor is on. Talking about the hardware, the bike gets 41mm USD front forks, and a preload adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a single 320mm front and 230mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres.
