Tata Motors has launched the Nexon CNG Dark Edition, priced between Rs 12.70 lakh and Rs 13.70 lakh, ex-showroom. The compact SUV, in its stealthier avatar, is available in three variants: Creative+ S, Creative+ PS, and Fearless+ PS. Here, let’s take a look at the changes that it features.
Tata Nexon CNG Dark Edition: All you need to know
The Nexon CNG Dark Edition, as the name suggests, features all-black exterior. It includes a blacked-out front grille, alloy wheels, and skid plates. The interior follows the same theme, featuring black leatherette upholstery, #Dark engraved on the headrests, and a piano-black finish on the centre console and door trims.
As for the features, the model gets dual 10.25-inch screens: one for infotainment and another for instrument cluster. It also offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. For safety, the model comes equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Under the hood, the Nexon CNG Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine delivers 100 hp of power and 170 Nm of torque when running on CNG. The SUV also features two CNG cylinders with a combined capacity of 60 litres. The Nexon CNG offers a claimed mileage of 17.44 km/kg.
