The wait is almost over for the much-awaited South Korean drama, ‘Knock Off,’ which features Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah. It will finally be released in April 2025. This time around, viewers will be happy to see this talented actor in a new avatar.
Social media buzz says that ‘Knock Off’ will probably premiere on December 21, 2024. It is going to have two parts. In total, there will be 18 episodes-nine in each part. April will witness the airing of the first half, while the remaining dates of 2025 will see the second half.
Knock Off tells the electrifying story of Kim Seong Jun and his journey across the land that is post-IMF crisis South Korea. From being a regular working class individual, he suddenly loses his job and is stretched to his limit. Moving into the late 20th century counterfeiting world, his ingenuity and perseverance make him a superhero in the world of fakes, conquering every market in the early 21st century.
Kim Soo Hyun’s appearance in the series has increased viewers’ intentions to watch it. Following a leading role in ‘Queen of Tears’, the lead received wide attention from a broad audience. In 2024, he held the first fan meeting in ten years under the title of ‘EYES ON YOU’ since his last held in 2014, when he hosted his final one.
The event was held in six different countries: Taiwan, China, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. Some major milestones in his career came in ‘My Love From the Star’, ‘The Producers’, ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’, ‘One Ordinary Day’, and ‘Dream High’.
