Kia India is all set to showcase the new and updated Kia EV6 facelift at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. Ahead of its official debut, the company has released a new teaser. The EV6 facelift was revealed globally last year i.e, May 2024 and features a bigger battery pack with more range, a new design with a fresh look, additional features and an updated dashboard layout.
The updated EV6 features a more striking design with a refreshed front-end appearance. It now includes angular LED daytime running lights paired with V-shaped DRLs, along with a redesigned front bumper and lower grille. On the sides, it sports newly styled alloy wheels, while the rear sees minimal changes, retaining its overall look but incorporating a new design for the taillights and bumper.

Inside the cabin, the layout remains largely unchanged but now features a large curved panoramic display that combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The steering wheel has been upgraded with a fingerprint scanner, enabling registered users to drive the car without a key. Additional features include over-the-air (OTA) updates, AI-powered navigation, a digital rearview mirror, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, Level 2 ADAS, remote park assist, and more advanced functionalities.
The most significant update to the EV6 is its larger battery pack. It now comes with an 84 kWh battery, replacing the previous 77.5 kWh unit, the same as the one used in the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant, powered by a single motor delivering 225 hp and 350 Nm of torque, offers an increased range of up to 494 km, compared to the earlier 474 km. The dual-motor version produces 320 hp and 605 Nm of torque. With a 350 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 18 minutes.
