A fast-track court in Dehradun sentenced a constable in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a fellow woman constable in 2021.
The court of additional district and sessions Judge Pankaj Tomar, while passing the order on Thursday, also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000, of which Rs 40,000 will be given as compensation to the survivor.
